Who would not like to spend a summer holiday in Scotland?
Frank Macpherson, an American, got the chance to go to the land of his
ancestors and in the company of his friend, Malcolm Macallan, a
Highlander born and bred, he made the most of his stay. Everything was
new to him—and "everything" included salmon, eagles, camping on the
hill, the dangers of a Highland storm that put the rivers in spate, and
enough adventure for the hardiest spirit.
